Criteria
The
basic criteria for inclusion in FitMenu are:
Less
than 35% of the calories must be from total fat. (1)
Less
than 10% of the calories must be from saturated fat.
It
must have zero trans fat (less than 0.5 grams)
(1)An
exception may possibly be made where the fat comes from nuts or fish.
In
addition, we look for these 3 things in a FitMenu Item:
*At
least 1 cup of fruit or vegetables
*
1 oz equivalent of whole grains
*
lean protein
A
Meal must have 2 of the 3 above things and less than 1,000
calories.
An
Entrée must have 2 of the 3 above things and less than 750
calories.
A
Side item must have 1 of the 3 above things and less than 250
calories.
